Privacy

Press Okay has no accounts, advertising or forms that collect personal information. We count page visits with a cookie-free tool, and, only if you agree, with Google Analytics, which uses cookies. Both are described below.

What the website loads

Text uses your device’s system fonts. Images and styles are served from this website. There are no embedded third-party videos, social media widgets or advertising pixels. The website sets no cookies unless you accept Google Analytics.

Visitor statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which guides they read, which site referred them, and their country and device type. It does not use cookies and does not identify you or follow you across other websites; visitors are counted from a hash of the incoming request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours, not from stored identifiers. We only see the statistics in aggregate. See Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy notes.

Google Analytics (only if you accept)

When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Until you choose Accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no Google cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…, kept for up to two years) and sends Google information about your visit: the pages you view, how you arrived, and your approximate location, browser and device. We use it in aggregate to learn which guides help and what people search for. Advertising features and ad personalisation are turned off. Your choice is stored in your browser; change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives technical request data when you visit a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the address requested, to deliver the page and protect the service. See Vercel’s privacy policy for how it handles that data.

Some guides link to manufacturer websites, including Samsung, LG, VIDAA, Hisense and TCL. Visiting those links takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.
