We publish focused answers to everyday questions: pairing a remote, connecting a device, finding a setting, reading an error code or cleaning a filter. Our collections cover Samsung and LG TVs, the VIDAA TV platform, TCL Google TV models, and TCL and Hisense air conditioners. Our source material

Our Samsung guides are based on Samsung’s English e-manuals: EU e-manuals for 2017–2026 TVs and US e-manuals for 2020–2026 TVs. Each e-manual is shared by many TVs and does not identify a single model on its cover. Every guide names its source pages and explains the limits of its coverage.

The LG collection covers two generations: LG’s English webOS user guides for 2023–2025 TVs, and manual MFL68027018 (revision 1402-REV00) for 2014 LB-series TVs. Instructions from one generation should not be assumed to apply to another. VIDAA guides cite Hisense’s 2021 VIDAA manual, Hisense’s 2025 VIDAA U9 e-manual, VIDAA’s written support FAQ and, where stated, a VIDAA e-manual hosted by a third-party manual site. TCL TV guides cite TCL UK’s multi-product Google TV manual. Our air conditioner guides are based on TCL’s North American manuals and quick-start guides and on a Hisense Chile portable air conditioner manual. Each guide identifies its sources and scope.

Clear about what we know

Manufacturer-documented instructions are labeled as such. We do not describe a guide as device-tested unless it has actually been checked on named hardware. Illustrations are identified as artwork and are not evidence of hardware testing.

The team behind the companion app

The same team publishes this site and is building the companion iPhone app for TV controls, watchlists, and viewing progress. The project includes Samsung Tizen, Roku, Google TV / Android TV, and Hisense VIDAA integrations. Release compatibility will be confirmed separately. Guides should help you whether or not you use our app. We are not affiliated with Samsung or any other TV or air conditioner manufacturer.
